FEES & INSURANCE

Our physicians participate in many insurance plans, but not all. Please check with your insurance carrier to be sure that you understand what you will be responsible for when you come to our practice. If your insurance is an HMO, you will need to bring your co-pay and a correct referral made out to our practice. We expect payment of your co-pay at the time of service. If your insurance does not cover office visits please expect to pay for service at the time of the visit.

Our fees reflect time spent by the doctor with you as well as time reviewing your records. They also reflect the specialized nature of the doctor's training and the individualized studies performed. Our fees are comparable to other specially trained physicians in the community.

Gastrointestinal Associates, Inc. charges for the copying of medical records. We charge in accordance with Act 28 of 1998 that established guidelines for health care providers and facilities to follow in response to a request made by a patient for this service.

Gastrointestinal Associates consists of 14 board certified Gastroenterologists and approximately 40 dedicated staff members. Our physicians are on staff at Abington Memorial Hospital and Holy Redeemer Hospital and Endoscopic Associates, Inc. which is a licensed out patient procedure unit partially owned by the shareholders of Gastrointestinal Associates, Inc. Gastrointestinal Associates, Inc. has offices on the campus of both hospitals.
